Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center is located off the Pennyrile Parkway (Exit 44) at 425 Island Ford Road in Madisonville, Kentucky. This beautifully decorated facility offers private and semi-private rooms with a view of landscaped grounds and courtyard. Accommodations are available for full-time residents and for those needing a short-term stay. 

Specialized in-house rehabilitation services including speech therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy, are provided by Evergreen Rehabilitation.  Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center is also licensed to offer orthopedic services including therapy for fractures, post-op individuals, and those needing prosthesis.

Hairdresser and barber services are offered weekly. A registered dietitian is on staff to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met. Doctors of Optometry and Podiatry are on call to assist residents.  A registered pharmacist monitors all medications to ensure proper protocol is followed when medicines are ordered, delivered, and dispensed.  All services are periodically evaluated so as to enhance the life of the resident.

Families and friends of the residents serve on the Family Council and assist the Admissions Coordinator in dealing with issues and concerns which affect resident care.  Membership is encouraged.  Call Lainie Brinkley at 270-825-0166 for information.

Volunteers play a vital role in facility operations.  The residents and staff are often treated to visits filled with music and song.  Many lend their talents to activities that include crafts and cooking, while others share the gospel via sermons and hymns.  Events are scheduled by a full time Activities Director.

Residents are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of activities such as group outings, games, Bible study, exercise sessions, birthday parties, and religious services.

Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center has accommodations for those needing respite care. While family members and/or caregivers are away, they can take comfort in knowing their loved ones are in a safe, secure environment.

Hospice care is available at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in conjunction with Green River Hospice of Hopkins County. This provides residents and their families an option when dealing with 'quality of life' issues.

Medicare, Medicaid, private insurances, and private pay are accepted.
